Small-batch spirits distilled on the banks of the Cape Fear River — crafted with local ingredients and the kind of patience that can't be rushed.
Wilmington Distillery was born from a simple conviction: that the best spirits don't need to travel far to be exceptional. We started in a converted warehouse on Dock Street with a single 50-gallon pot still and a stubborn belief that Wilmington's maritime heritage deserved a place in every bottle.
Today, every batch is small, every ingredient is intentional, and every pour tells the story of this river city — from the coastal marshes that shape our botanicals to the historic port that inspired our name.
Each spirit is distilled in small batches at our Dock Street facility, using locally sourced botanicals and Cape Fear water.
Hand-foraged coastal juniper, sea fennel, and sweetbay magnolia bark give this gin its unmistakable Lowcountry character.
Aged in charred white oak — previously holding local craft beer — this bourbon carries notes of molasses, smoked pecan, and river clay.
Single-estate sugarcane molasses, aged in ex-bourbon casks. Rich dark chocolate, toasted coconut, and a whisper of salt air.
Five-times distilled through local corn and filtered through activated charcoal. Clean, crisp, and quietly powerful.
Infused with sweetbay magnolia blossoms and local honey. Floral, warm, and deeply rooted in the Carolina coast.
Our limited-release cask program. Single-barrel selections aged 5–12 years, numbered and hand-signed by our master distiller.
Walk the distillery floor, meet our copper stills, and taste three spirits alongside our guide — no two tours are alike.
